Ryan Boutwell - President
Ryan Boutwell has been working at Marion Rock since he was 13 years old. However, after high-school, Ryan went through the police academy and worked in law enforcement for 6 years part-time while also working at Marion Rock. Eventually he realized that the family business was where he wanted to be, so he began working full-time at Marion Rock. He has now worked his way up to President of Marion Rock. He and his Vice President Eric Densmore bought the company in July of 2025. Ryan states the most valuable thing he has learned from owning a company is to be at the top, you have to be up before daylight and work until the sun sets.
Eric Densmore - Vice President
Eric Densmore has been working at Marion Rock for 15 years. He started by working on an underground crew, and worked his way up to estimator through taking initiative. Eventually, Eric bought Marion Rock with Ryan Boutwell in July 2025, making him now Vice President. Eric still maintains his duties as estimator, which include permits, MOT plans, managing jobs, estimating, paying bills, and any other responsibilities the company needs. Eric continues to work here as he enjoys the family-oriented environment. Eric states that the most valuable thing he has learned while working here is how to communicate effectively with those who have a language barrier.
Brian Hutchinson - Project Manager
Brian Hutchinson began working at Marion Rock in July of 2025. Before his employment here, he worked as a project manager for US Water. He was also employed by the City of Ocala where he started as city inspector and worked his way up to project manager. Currently, Brian assists Marion Rock in ensuring all current projects are meeting deadlines and have the needed materials. Brian is also certified in APWA Construction Inspection Project Management Program, as well as many other certifications that allow him to stay educated while on sites. Brian states the most valuable thing he has learned while working at Marion Rock is how to communicate professionally with individuals of different skills and backgrounds.
Nicole Almanza - Office Manager
Nicole Almanza has worked at Marion Rock for 12 years. Nicole started as the Secretary, and moved up to Office Manager through training and increased education. Currently, Nicole is responsible for billings, entering invoices, payroll, creating invoices for the Concrete Plant, collecting payments from our general contractors, and communicating with general contractors. Nicole exclaims Marion Rock is a place where she is treated like family, allowing her to truly enjoy the office. Nicole states that the most valuable thing she has learned from working here is that family should be prioritized and valued.
